(Un) Sustainable Tourism?

From the Natural Park of Arrábida we can see Tróia, which is located South East from Lisbon. Therefore it has a major influence in Portuguese tourism, which causes great ecological impact near the coast. This compromises the local sustainability. The huge towers, even though some of them have been destroyed a couple of years ago, continue to dominate the referred area. Some of these issues show the lack of land use planning.
Is this the most suitable way to promote sustainable tourism?
